Here are some frequently asked questions
We recommend you get a quote as soon as you have a buyer so you are well prepared to discuss removal dates prior to exchange of contracts / completion.

The estimator will walk around your property with you and discuss your requirements. This will ensure that nothing is forgotten i.e Loft, shed etc. They will discuss packing options and will assess the access (doorways, steps, parking etc) They will discuss all services we offer and tailor the move to suit you.
We offer a form to be completed. This is a simple tick box form but our office staff are here to advise you in the event of any problems.
We will also shortly be offering video surveys.
We advise keeping in touch with the office prior to exchange of contracts and as soon as you are discussing completion dates. This way we can advise our available dates.
Once you have confirmed your dates, we will request a deposit of £150 per day of your move and arrange to deliver boxes and tape etc if you are doing your own packing.
Payment will then be required 5 working days prior to your move date. This payment is covered by the British Association of Removers Advanced Payment Guarantee (UK domestic moves only)
Providing it is within 10 working days prior to the move, we offer the option of paying for a booking cancellation waiver. This enables you to move or cancel your move right up to the day before without further penalty.
We offer the option of paying for a waiver against any additional charges.
We can offer this service. Please discuss with the estimator or the office.
Provided there are only clothes in the chest of drawers, you don’t need to empty.
We will bring portable wardrobe boxes on the day and hang your clothes for you, then rehang at delivery.
Provided it is a local move, you don’t need to empty / defrost. We just ask you to ensure that it is plugged in and switched on at delivery.
Please ensure washing machines, dishwashers etc are empty and dry. They must be disconnected and reconnected by yourselves unless agreed with our office.
Yes, we will move both outside and inside plants.
Yes, we will tailor this to suit your needs. We can offer full packing service or maybe you would just like us to pack your fragile items.
Yes, boxes and tape will be provided as part of the move. They are free on loan and will be collected up to 14 days after the move is completed.
Other packaging can be provided at a small cost.
We recommend you look after your own personal items such as jewellery, passports, keys, important documents etc
Yes, we offer 2 different types of storage. Wooden containers stored in our secure warehouse recommended for household belongings or steel containers on our yard recommended for workshop /garage items etc.
We cannot store anything flammable eg drain oil / petrol for mowers etc
We recommend you look after your own personal items such as jewellery, passports , keys etc.
